I put a thread on praise, vent about the card factory staff and another poster has said he/she would be interested to know what nationality they were. Think, having looked at his (I think it is a he) previous posts I shall keep schtum - I have no intention of fanning some jingoistic flames. And anyway I don't KNOW as such. I just can be fairly sure what they're not!

(I haven't kicked the cat at all I am just illustrating my mood.)

AF has put in ANOTHER appearance.

anyway. Casserole in SC - DS has a footy game (at the school where I didn't get my dream job in the summer *wails*) and apparently his dad is goiung to come and watch! *Picks self up from floor in shock*
But DS still wants his mummy there * oh good!

I'll prep the spuds for mash then they can go on while he is in the bath after the match.

    Morning all

I've got a load of washing out on the line. It's not drying! But it's out of my way and will smell nice when I get it in later, and it stops it smelling of roast dinner. Does anyone else's washing end up smelling of their cooking when it's draped round indoors? The washing not the cooking......

    Hex -
I've never had a first edition of Villette but I have had two paperback copies because I wore out the first one.

I've read all the posts but I can barely remember everything on there. Hope you have a good time away Rosepink. Sorry to hear about Joseph, Froddy. Hope your DD is better soon Sarah. Well done on shouting at the thieves Valli.

I know I've forgotten lots of things :(
  • Good morning everyone  We had a lovely evening, but a late night, so I'm a bit slow this morning :o DH and I have tidied the kitchen and he's taken DS to football (cup match). DD is still in bed *roll eyes smilie* :p and I've done the ironing.

Off to find a list, and then tidy the dining room

Just vacuumed through the whole house and picked up the toys that seem to be everywhere! We're going out to the local pub shortly for a carvery meal - belated birthday meal from DH. AF not being very nice to me so feeling headachey, crampy and yuk but I'm sure I'll feel better once I've eaten my roast and, of course, pudding!

Done my application for the Manor Hall job; going to wait to see how it goes before I pursue my ironing any further because if (very big if) I was to get the MH job plus I do my typing then I'd not have time for anything else!!!

Hope you all have a lovely afternoon; I can't believe how quickly the weekends go.

Grateful I hope your OH sees the error of his ways in not going to the dr, hugs for you all. And no you haven't upset me ;) if you want to read our story it's all on Stormybay's thread.
    Thanks, and I will.
I'm pleased to report that DH is doing really well, :T:T he's blitzing the kitchen now and has got the washing ready to take (we make full use of Mum's TD while there!) and I've finished packing my bits and bobs, last bits of toiletries, and towels. DH says he will hoover before we leave too, so it won't be too bad for our flat inspection. I've s&s'd the bath too. DH has also packed some food to take with us.
I will graduall start putting things in the car to make it easier for DH to hoover and then he can help me once he's hoovered and then we should be ready to go! :j:j:j

He does get there eventually bless him!

    Bon voyage.

    eewww yuck, some people.

Been to Church and DDs were exemplary except DD2 (is 2) sang "twinkle twinkle" in place of the hymns (all of them) DH is a lot better today, a bit pale though. Thanked God for his deliverance.

Off to iron in a minute, I managed to put DD2 to bed without a nappy last night, with the shock of it all, so wet bedding to wash.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

    Afternoon all

I have been up since 4.30 this morning, with the runs :(

Just on to say Toots - Thursday and Friday complete, can I have my final two stars please :j:j

I done both DD & DS rooms on Friday and now DD's room is like a tip again, it would take me 5 mins to do it really but I am tired and CBA.

We finally ordered our new bed yesterday, have been saving up for one as I have a terrible back and the last 6 months or so, I have been waking in the night because of the pain, so I got one much cheaper that I had budgeted and a king size at the price of a double because the advertisement was a mistake, they advertised the two sizes at the same price :T

Sorry, Not had time to catch up with the thread but hugs if you need them, hope you are all well am offski now, tummy is making strange noises again, gonna see if I have any immodium :o
