    Morning all

Have been struggling to catch up with you all this last couple of days but I am just about there!

Starting this post before I finish reading as I will forget all I have to say otherwise lol

Grateful I hope your OH sees the error of his ways in not going to the dr, hugs for you all. And no you haven't upset me ;) if you want to read our story it's all on Stormybay's thread.

Valli it's a lovely idea to write your memory of the jam lady in the sympathy card, those cards meant the most to me when we got them for DH.

Keys keep the bike riding to 20-30 minute sessions max, she will be too tired to go on any longer and will possibly be less likely to want to try. I liken it to potty training, some take longer to get the hang of it and some pick it up straight away. W only really got going when we were on hols last year and he was 6 at the time, Miss A was 4 when she succeeded.

Glad the parcel arrived Jue, sorry I took so long to post it :o

I see the soapbox has had a battering the last day or so as well :rotfl:

    Morning everyone.

I have just skimmed caught up with the thread :o
I am just about to have some brekkie, then I am going to get started on something.
Everywhere isn't to bad to be honest. So I think I am going to attack my own list, to try and get it reduced somewhat, alledgely

  • I'm pleased to report that DH is doing really well, :T:T he's blitzing the kitchen now and has got the washing ready to take (we make full use of Mum's TD while there!) and I've finished packing my bits and bobs, last bits of toiletries, and towels. DH says he will hoover before we leave too, so it won't be too bad for our flat inspection. I've s&s'd the bath too. DH has also packed some food to take with us.
I will graduall start putting things in the car to make it easier for DH to hoover and then he can help me once he's hoovered and then we should be ready to go! :j:j:j

He does get there eventually bless him!

It is still morning, isn't it?
Usual slow Sunday start in Craftyland however need to shift myself and go and do a shop (note to self, buy fruit not biscuits:o)
Found pedometer and am even wearing it.
I'm not overweight - well within 'normal' on any chart, but I am about a stone heavier than I have ever been in my life and do not want it to get any worse (wish I had not discovered 'Twinks')

Just a short one as I am still trying to get my laptop sorted out. It could only happen to me..lol

I downloaded the window updates and instantly knew something was wrong as the stupid laptop then kept going slower and slower until it wouldn't load up on Saturday morning. It just kept sitting on a loop and wouldn't even load properly in safe mode, so I realised there was something majorly wrong. Well after cursing it, screaming at it and then almost tearing my hair out I decided to reformat the stupid thing. Thank gods for Aldi laptops mady by Medion and Symantec Ghost is all I can say :) So here I am still trying to get bits and bobs loaded back on it. Have lost all my photos sadly, still no biggie I have my memories that is the main thing. Luckily I found some on my online album so I am pleased in that respect. Music I transferred over to the second drive so I still have all that :)

So now I am just getting myself back up and running with the apps back, one good news is I have managed to get the wireless facility on the lappy working, don't know how or what I did but I now have a little red light on the keypad. So don't need a dongle just yet..might give the dongle to D so he can use it instead of his slow one.

Hope everyone is doing okay, *hugs* to everyone that wants/needs them. I will be back soon hopefully. I am now sure nothing else can happen, well I blooming well hope not..lol.

Pooh you MUST complain about your treatment (or lack of!) The charter is there for a reason. If you can quote staff names all the better or at least the time that you were there so they can narrow it down. Really pleased that you can drive again

lil_me sounds great, I shall have a look at the link later hope you manage to sort something so you can all go.

Pigger sounds like you are having 'fun'!

Blimey Valli you know how to have fun don't you! Glad you saw them lifting your purse and got them arrested. Love the idea of a ferret!

Dusty I'm not l much help but I hope you managed to find the right words for your chat, hugs. Does he want to be a police driver because of the high speed driving they do?? If so then he will have to have a clean licence and show steady eddy skills and not hot head ones, might be worth pointing those things out to DS's friend.

Kazm big hugs for you, don't stay away too long.

Frodders thinking of you and Joesph's family on Wednesday. And hugs to you as well Keggie thanks for sharing with us.

Toots sounds like a great day, make sure you rest up this week ;)

Sarah hope DD is better soon, also that your friend is ok, she is in the best place but won't do much for your or her nerves until baby is safely delivered.

Holly am assuming DS's sickness was self inflicted. Make sure he pulls his weight in sorting it out, hugs for you.

Kazw our I call our car a mobile skip when we are on hols :rotfl: although last year we managed to keep it a bit more respectable by mucking it out every day or 2.

Natty glad you got the lappy back working.

And I am all caught up!!!! Must be Sunday :rotfl:
