I have a Sony Ericsson C905 phone but I have a problem getting online, but only sometimes and in some places. I have tried changing the Internet settings on the phone but I still can go online consistently. Actually its got worse recently, probably because I have mucked about with the settings!
Any ideas as to a solution?

you can reset the settings here otherwise it might be the operator's network and/or weak signal preventing you from accessing the net.
also, is the phone running the latest firmware?
if not, then use the sony ericsson update service to upgrade the firmware and see if it makes a change0
