Boiler and central heating cover - which one?
Hi
can anyone recommend any particular boiler and central heating cover provider?
My requirements are:
- unlimited call outs
- unlimited parts and labour
- quality service
I've looked at Britsh Gas and Norwich Union in particular, although the BG policy is looking a little dodgy (they use reconditioned parts for example).
Any ideas/personal experiences most welcome.
Thanks
Martin

There have been a number of recent threads about this on this forum - see 'Gas Boiler Maintenance' amongst others.
There is an argument that you should not bother with insurance and wait until it goes wrong.
Myself and several others go for the BG 3* service for the peace of mind of a 7 day call out etc.
As far as I am aware there are not any other schemes that are significantly cheaper than BG.(with the same service)
I was not aware that BG fit reconditioned parts. However if they do - so what? If that part fails they have to come again - for that reason I cannot see them fitting parts that are likely to fail again as it doesn't make economic sense.Robert0 -

Yes, we have been with numerous suppliers but have always maintained cover from BG.

I've ben with BG 3* service for years and cannot complain about them or the service they provide.
I have just switched energy suppliers but kept up with BG 3*, and if you don't call them out more than twice a year you get a discount on the following years premium.0
