over riders

I have just signed up with virgin for telephone, broadband etc. can I use 1899 overide number for calls?

    Are you using Cable Virgin Media or Virgin phone and Broadband through a BT line?

    If the former then no you cannot use 1899 or 18185 etc. using those codes, however you can use their 0808 number which has slightly different rates (see links below). If you are using Virgin Media through a BT line then I don't know the answer I am afraid.

    Virgin media ADSL via BT line rental allows overides, as the phone line is really BT not Virgin
