Anybody know of any good deals for the above, would have to include childrens prices as well, been to one travel agent which quote £99 per adult for 2 nights with return rail and £21 for each child, if anybody has been on these trips what quality are the hotels/b&b's
Thanks

Mother and sister did one 2 weeks ago from Newcastle, £99 each and stayed in Bloomsbury in London, and the hotel was ok.
Will speak to her later and get the name of the hotel. That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
Thanks, we would be going from Darlington so it must be the same deal we were looking at, I think it is a good price but wanted to know about the hotels more than anything.
Thank0 -
Just spoke to Sis, and they stayed at the Royal National in Russel Sq on a B&B basis.
She said it was ok, and the President nearby is part of the same group.
I would tripadvisor both hotels for reviews. That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
I think Superbreaks are the main company offering these and they offer a range of hotel qualities.
It may still be cheaper to buy advance rail tickets and book your own hotel0 -
I am looking for something similar for July, 2 adults one child Darlington train to London.... yet Superbreaks dont give me option of reduced cost for child age 8 sharing same room, seem to have to pay full price, cheapest option being 120 pounds each person.
Can I ask which travel agent has this promotion?

As Dzug1 says , you would probably get it a lot cheaper to book the hotel and train yourself. Eg. If you use the holiday inn 2 for 1 site, I just put in random July dates of 25-27 July and it is £65 per night for the Bloomsbury or £69 for the Earls Court one with free breakfast (Earls Court not far from NH and Science Museums which are free), so £130 for 2 nights in total for a family room that sleeps 2 adults and 2 children.

The cheap advance rail fares are not up yet, but if you book them as soon as available you would get a good deal. If you want coach (again not available yet) megabus.com have £1 fares from Newcastle if you book as soon as available.0
