I phoned LX yesterday, afer having duplicated my order - it seems I have opened up a credit account with them. I intended to use my credit card on line but I must have missed something and ended up opening an account. I have decided to keep my duplicate order. I also mentioned the discount that didn't show on my invoice - the lady said "check your account when you get it and if it isn't shown, to phone but make sure you keep discount code.

I ordered something off them a while back with a discount code. They debited the whole amount from my account then took about 4 week to credit the discount back to my account. I kept writing and complaining that they should not have taken the money in the first place but never got a satisfactory reply from them.

Yes I went half way down that road as well until it started asking me for previous addresses. That usually means they are going to check your credit rating. I smelled a rat so went back ....the website checkout is not as clear as it should be - one of the advance to the next page buttons takes you into opening an account, be carful out there......!
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.

I had an email off LX asking me to call as they need more info? I used the code and now think they won't honour the price?

Anyone else had this email or know what its about?

Yep, had a similar message (see post 44)

Yeah, must admit, thought it a bit funny when they wanted to know how long I had lived at present address.
