Adidas (Goodyear!) Trainers (rrp £79.99) for as little as £7.50 delivered...

  • Mine arrived half an hour ago. TY again OP!!! :j

Just inspected mine abit closer. The leather seems to be perfect on them. The only creases seem to be the small natural ones i would expect in leather. Impossible to see these when the trainers are being worn. I guess you were just unlucky haymishpupkin2 and got the leather from the part of the animal that has a large natural crease?? :D

Same problem as post #88 though - the note inside states £19. I am going to assume that they are only putting this on the note but have charged £7.50 to the card, or as previous posts said that they have charged the full amount to the card and will refund the voucher amount soon.

    :T

I ordered some jogging bottoms yesterday which were £12 + £3.50 P&P and applied the £10 + free P&P code.
The code took the total down to £2 as expected but then disappeared on subsequent screens and the confirmation email.

This morning I phoned them on 0800123131 (Cheers saynoto0870!)
and was told there is a problem with internet codes they are not taking the money off.You have to wait until you receive your goods then phone them and they will do it manually.

If you do not phone them you will not get the discount.

What a joke! I won't be using LXDirect again.
(Oh, hang on a minute I wasn't going to anyway....)

  • Can i just say that I am still impressed with LX Direct. I ordered on saturday and the goods came monday morning! Also just noticed that it is FREE to return goods that do not fit/are faulty. You are allowed to ordered more than one for size!!! Just seen that on the enclosed return label it says "RPP - Carriage will be paid at destination by Littlewoods unless posted in Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland. Please affix this label to your parcel". They also have 'Poor value, displeased with quality, arrived too late etc...' as genuine reasons for return so feel confident in buying from them again. :T

What is the link between Littlewoods and LXDirect? It says Littlewoods on the return label. They are both online clouthes retailers. They both have a similar structure to website. They both stock alot of the same items and brands. They both have very similar discount codes available. Whats going on??

But Littlewoods is usually about a third more expensive, although they don't charge for delivery!

My 2 pairs turned up .. gives full price on receipt but says on website that discount will be returned to my card.
    We shall see :-)

They are a bit on the "snug" side though .. sure they will loosen up with a bit of wear.

I have found them good for this type of thing, however do not touch them with a barge pole for larger items like a washing machine, especially when you need it! It does not come on the delivery date and you are the one who has to chase it up between LX Direct and the delivery company. Nightmare ...never again!!

I ordered some on Sat for my OH so will see if they come. They do say £750 as the total plus delivery though, so that's all I'm expecting them to be. Told my brother about this on Sunday, but on Sat he'd been out and bought a pair of trainers for over £100 and was weraing them Sunday. Ouch, lol
