Nature Boy and Girl Nappies

Does anyone use Nature Boy and Girl Nappies. They are supposed to be environmentally friendly.

Are they any good? And do they ever appear in offers?

I used them regularly when my ds was in nappies. I found them really good, just as good as pampers or huggies but you can only get them in certain places i.e. Tesco and Asda don't do them.

They do appear in offers - for example Sainsbury's were doing an offer on all nappies a couple of weeks ago and Nature nappies were included in this.

By the way Asda are now doing an 'Eco-friendly' range of nappies now- they are good as well and much cheaper:D I am now using these for my newborn.

are they cloth or like disposable but biogegradable? I used terry nappies for my DS but the plastic pants made his skin really sore. Got ages to go til I'm due but I'd like to start collecting info on stuff now

They are biodegradeable. I am not sure just how good they are for the environment, probably not as good as cloth ones. But on the other hand I think the washing machine uses a lot of energy and detergent too.

I use mainly washables, but when I first found out I was preg with no.2 I was VERY sick, so got lazy with the washing machine for a few months, and used the sainsbury's eco nappies. I have also tried Nature baby ones too and Sainsbury's win hands down. It may have been the shape of my DD (skinny legs) but they constantly leaked wee and sometimes poo too, they were a £1 more expensive and they also were rarely on offer. The sainsbury's ones are £4.99 for 34 (Ithink) and are regularly (approx every 3 months) included in the sainsbury's baby event (1/3 off everything) and I have never had any leaks even for night time when she sleeps 12 hours.

I have looked in our Asda (one of the mega store, huge ones) and they don't stock the eco nappies :( They do have them online though and I noticed a while ago they were 3 packs for £10. Not sure if this was an intro offer or wether it was baby event or something?

    HTH.
