PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Have you tried https://www.ourproperty.co.uk ? This is a free website where you can search under postcode or street name and it can go back to 2000 if you use the advanced search page. Alternatively, there is https://www.upmtstreet.co.uk where you can search on the postcode. Not sure if you have to register to this one but if you do its free....."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Oops, well done martyn - my fingers don't quite go as fast as my brain sometimes - I really should be a little more careful and check out my posts before posting them! Thanks for pointing it out...."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Also look at https://www.yourmove.co.uk then click on left hand side 'house prices'. I use both your move & our property & sometimes one site has had the house on and the other hasn't.Danielle -x-:p0
