I know i read this somewhere but can anyone confirm it please? Can you pay a RBS cheque into Natwest & vice versa? I want to pay a credit card bill with a RBS cheque but can i put it in the cheque deposit box in Natwest? I understand it just takes a little longer.

Having read that I think that's slightly different actually. I'm not paying a cheque into the actual account itself, i want to pay a credit card bill with it.0

I can't understand why people put themselves through the hassle of paying bills at counters in this day and age...0

Provided the bill and cheque are in the same name then they will be able to take it.
For reference you can pay in cheques into RBS accounts at Natwest branches provided you have your paying in slip and the cheque is for less than £5k.0 -
