Has anyone heard of Safeguard?

Hi everyone,
We have a DMP with Payplan and they are recommend we take up a policy with Safeguard, it’s a breakdown cover for your car and legal cover, but I’m unsure if it’s a good policy to take up or if I would be wasting £10 a month on a duff scheme. Any help would be great.
Thanks

£120 a year for breakdown and legal protection? Sounds overpriced to me.0

Safeguard are a Lloyds company & have been around for many years. Swinton used to (maybe still do) sell their motor insurance policies.
Is the breakdown cover just that or does it include recovery, home start etc.?
Legal cover should cost around £20 - £30 a year. If £120 is for just legal cover & rescue then that is expensive.0
