Do I accept offer or go to FOS?

Hi all
I have posted here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1460775&page=487

If I don't accept the offers and go to the FOS would I still be entitled to the minimum offer that LTSB are offering me if the FOS don't increase the offer? And if I go to the FOS could I end up with nothing?

    Hi hun

When you go to the FOS they look at the complaint all over again, I may be wrong here but the chances are the offer could stay the same if not it could go all the way.

Its entirely up to you now and depending on how you feel about this offer, its good to get opinions though, hopefully you will receive more opinions from others on this as well today, good luck to you.;)

Hi, from reading how they state they are redressing it sounds like a normal redress in that FOS would accept as putting you back into the position as if you never had the PPI. Well done.

Just read more of your posts and see that the 2003 loan they are offering a more generous pro rata rebate? You could argue this if you believe it was missold to you though.

I did claim on the PPI on the 2003 loan but that one was definately mis sold and I have a witness to thatr as well, I think they're just trying to confuse with bank speak as the insurance on that one on my docs is exactly the same as my other loans.

What I am wondering is though if they admit they were wrong can I try to make them change the amount I borrowed on each successive loan ( as I had to pay back the PPi as well) to be a lesser amount? I hope that you can understand what I mean lol
