that is exactly what happened to my daughters...i had to reinstall an old xp pro disc i had laying about. i think if you want to keep vista its worth doing a clean install and losing whats on there.....seems like you will whatever you do.spanky xx

I really dont want to lose everything--all my dd's photos are on it since last year. My own stupid fault for not backing upTRYING hard to be a good money saver :rolleyes:0
