Telewest & Premiership Plus

Signed up for pay-per-view Premiership Plus season ticket last night on Telewest - £75
Thought nothing more of it until I say an ad on Sky Sports advertising it through their platform for £50
Did an internet search and found that NTL are also doing it for £50.
After emailing TW customer services this morning hinting that I might have their services disconnected, had a call from a very nice chap at TW.
He said that the pricing difference on this was a corporate decision and was unable to justify. He acknowledged though that we are good customers - we take TV, net & phone from them.
He offered me a bill credit of £25 on the spot to make up for this.
Cable companies can get a bad name (I used to hate NTL when I lived in their area)
But fair play, thanks to Telewest for sorting out the issue promptly and courteously.
