Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me out
Im trying to edit videos using windows movie maker.. I have been able to edit a video which was taken using my digital cam, but the videos i have uploaded from my fone i cant load them onto windows movie maker..
When i click "IMPORT MEDIA" & then search through my documents to my videos, i can't view the video at all it doesn't show it is in the folder to be able to upload it, but when i look on my computer in my documents without going through windows movie maker they are there.
Hope i have explained this well.
I would appreciate your reply, and thankyou in advance, these videos are important and i would love to sort this problem out. Thankyou.
Also using windows movie maker can i rotate the video??
Thanks for reading, hope someone can help out.

Windows Movie Maker won't accept the file format of the videos from your phone.
Try downloading super from here, the download link is right at the bottom of the page.
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
using Super you can convert it to a WMV or MPG format that Movie Maker supports.
Sorry can't remember if Movie Maker will roatet it, I haven't used it for a while. It's my problem, it's my problem

How do I rotate video that I have recorded with my digital camera in the Player?
You can rotate video clips in Windows Movie Maker by doing the following:
1.
Import the video clip into Windows Movie Maker.
2.
Drag the imported video clip and drop it onto the timeline.
3.
On the Tools menu, click Video Effects.
4.
To rotate the video clip to the right, drag the Rotate 90 video effect and drop it onto the movie on the timeline.
-or-
To rotate the video clip to the left, drag the Rotate 270 video effect and drop it onto the movie on the timeline.
5.
On the File menu, click Save Movie File and follow the instructions in the Save Movie Wizard.
For detailed instructions, see Windows Movie Maker Help.0 -

you may find that WMM cant handle longer films without crashing (anything over 2MB can start causing trouble). But splitting the project up and creating a smaller movie can get round this - I produced a 10 minute film with WMM by spltting it into 3 parts and then finally editing those 3 sections togther (by importing them into WMM again) and then adding the soundtrack.Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
