Hi People,
I have a PowerGen share certificate and am trying to get my finances in order and was going to sell them. I've looked on the london stock exchange website and newspapers and other websites but can't see any share prices for PowerGen shares.
Are PowerGen shares still trading?
If they are where can I find a share price?
If they're not then is there any way of getting money for these shares or have I lost.
Thanks in advance for your help

No. PowerGen was taken over by the German utility company E.ON. Follow below BBC finance link:

You will have received a cheque for the value of your holding based on the takeover price.

Thank you very much for the info.
O dear :-( I did not get a cheque from them.
Any idea who I should contact to get another cheque sent to me or have I lost out on this money , do you think.
Sorry to be so vague and unknowledgeable,0 -
*IF* the money was never delivered (cashed cheque, BACS deposit) then the company / registrars will be aware of this. You should contact E.ON (or their registrars) to find out.
If you go to the E.ON web site they should have a "Investor Relations" section (or similar) and they will identify their registrars in there. If you quote your share cert number the registrar should be able to track down what's happened (you may have actually received the money).
