My partner and I want to go camping for a fews days week beginning 24th July. Any ideas where to go that is reasonably cheap and has half decdent facilities?

Hi not sure what you mean by half decent facilities as i have not been camping. There are camping facilities at the John Fowler Site just outside Bude. Lively resort, clean and plenty to do. Our caravan was near the tent pitches and away from the noise so the kids could sleep.
    Hope this helps.

I know you said North, but we have stayed at Cofton Country Holidays (south devon!) a couple of times now. Really clean site, especially the showers/toilets, which is my biggest worry when camping! Last year, it was about £21 per night, we are probably going back late August again.
:D I am in the future you know...

  • One good way to find a reliable site is join the camping and caravaning club. A good site by woolacombe is damage barton. Other non member sites i can think of are twitchen again in woolacombe and ruda park in croyde.
    Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
