Peugeot 206cc Fan Fault
Hi, wondering if any of you can help with this;
we have a 52 plate peugeot 206cc and recently it started to overheat. done the usual checks with water levels etc, and found that the fan isnt cutting in. i dont think its cutting in even when the air-con is on.
all fuses have been checked and are ok, so im left to check sensors & relays before i declare it the fault lying in the actual fan, however we dont have the user manual and i dont know the location of the relays/sensors
anyone know where they are and the method of access to get at them?
thanks

it might be worth while buying a haynes manual.
check the radiator, i know on some radiators there is a temp sensor on them, if you disconnect this it can bring the fan in on full speed,so make sure all hands and tools are clear of fan just incase,disconnect it and start engine and see if fan comes in.
im not sure of where any relays will be,but i would imagine they will be in the fuse box under the bonnet....work permit granted!0 -
