How much to board out my loft (Greater Manchester)

Hi all
I have just posted a question about loft insulation quote I've just had. My next question is:
How much should I expect to pay to have my loft boarded out?. I am in the process of getting it re-insulated (hence my other post). The surveyors sheet for the loft insulation says:
SEMI DETACHED, BUILT 1950.
Loft Insulation Area: 38Msq
I live in Astley (M29), in Greater Manchester.
Thanks
Thanks all

When you insulate your loft upto current specs, i think it now has to be 270mm. This will cover your cieling joist's, and if you are boarding over you will compress the insulation. This will tend to put pressue on the plaster boards, popping out the nails. You dont want another cieling to come down???
You will have to fit timbers to the ceiling joist's to raise them above the insulation. And imo best to do it to a small area and over load bearing walls to carry the extra weight.
Hope this helps from a Leigh lad:DA thankyou is payment enough .0 -
loft boards are approx 5 quid per sq m. so thats 200 quid.
extra if say 2x2 timbers are required.
then a days labour. 100/200 quid ish.Get some gorm.0 -
Thanks from me too. x0

I'm not 100% sure how much it'll cost but just wanted to warn you to avoid the loft centre (. com) as they are total cowboys and ripped us off!0
