i'm in the process of seeting up my laptop a pop up screen has "do you want to install the following programe"

jucheck.exe
publisher unknown

do i need to click yes or no?

ahhhh its vanished from the screen now

one other question please

i've noticed windows 7 is similiar to vista in that it always pops up with

"do you want to install the following programe"

is there anyway i can disable that pop up?

It depends if you are happy in the fact that things will install on you new lappy without asking and as you said in your post on kis you had a trojan once
I would personally leave it alone and let it pester you from time to time otherwise you will inevitably return here to ask for help
