We bought a Pacific DVD player a few months ago for £35 from Asda. It has never worked very well and we had always blamed the dvd's we put in it. It was only when we put same dvds on daughters laptop and they played perfecly that we realised it was the player.
Spent ages looking for receipt, credit card statement etc but no luck and eventually I phoned them and they agreed to either replace or refund money.
Went down there yesterday and ended up with a slimline Phillips dvd that should have been £70 (special offer £49.95) so ended up paying £15 for a player that shold have been £35 dearer.
We got it home and IT IS GREAT!!!
No for fixxy picture and sound.Really pleased.
