in Techie Stuff
I need to do this as cheaply as possible, and need techies to help me, cos since I've been ill I just can't concentrate - and I can't comprehend when reading instructions, so I need someone to tell me exactly what to do.
I have a Gigibyte motherboard GA-K8vm800M motherboard which had been connected to an IDE hard drive.
I now have a SATA hard drive to replace it, and the motherboard has two red connections which I believe are SATA connection points.
If I am correct so far, can someone tell me what cable I need to connect the mobo to HD.
In addition, is there a a cable I can get which will connect between the old Power supply cable [four pin] and the HD.
I hope I've given all the info I need to.
Thanks for any help.

Too late! I ordered the other one immediately - I'm not going to cry over 50p, it was just the thought of buying something at PCW that bothered me.
Thanks again:jI gave up jogging for health reasons; my thighs rubbed together and my knickers caught fire!0
