Hi, can anyone tell me if I can download for free any sort of Office programs, I have found one but not sure if its ok (open office .org).
i only need it for everyday things like letters etc

And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better
UPDATE,
As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

That openoffice.org is a good one to use.
You probably only need to install the word processor and the spreadsheet. These are called 'Writer' and 'Calc'.Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -
MS Office 2010 Beta is still available as a free download; fully-functioning but with an expiry date (I think October 2010)0

Another vote for Open Office. It's undeniably the best free office software available.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

OpenOffice is way better than MS Office, that's why so many Govt. depts, universities and large organisations are moving to it.Never Knowingly Understood.
