118 travel and Youtravel

Take care when booking you holiday with 118.
Your actual hotel booking will likely be with You travel.
It has taken me 4 months to finally settle holiday compensation.
Booking was fully confirmed and on arrival advised by hotel we were double booked and agent had agreed to another hotel ( without my knowledge). Not unique to us, there were around 9 other couples also affected.

as booked with 118 travel, all complaints with You T had to be directed through them.
This proved a challenge as I was always passed off with a " we are waiting for a response", " not our fault".

they seemed to forget that I was their customer too!.

If you are experiencing a similar situation, hold fast & stay firm. You will most likely be offered a very small amount to settle, as we were.
