O23 - Service: LogMeIn Rescue (fb355ab4-8cf0-433b-b902-369102c3326a) (LMIRescue) - Unknown owner - C:\Users\home\AppData\Local\Temp\LMI7DC7.tmp\lmi_r escue.exe (file missing)
The one ive put in BOLD is upto you, but I suspect its not right
I await the combofix log
I can't get to either of the C:\ files through Hijack.
Have tried to delete them both mannually, but can't delete atashost as it is in use, access is denied when I try and close the process in task manager.
It does have a digital signature of "webex" which was something to do with some videos my work made me watch via webex.
The log me in rescue things are also work related, remote control pc help.Saving and spending in equal measure0 -
Just waiting on Dr Web, will have to do that one later as taking an age to download.
PC feels notably faster already, I'm going to give the PC an internal clean over the next few days to see if the power is a dust issue.
Just need to clear up some of the crap on here, 400gb hard drive nearly full!Saving and spending in equal measure0 -

Hijack 'should' be able to remove them both. The last one is dead anyways and so youve absolutely no need to keep it on:idea:0 -
I've just made things worse.............
I decided to take the PC apart and give it a spring clean, it was covered in dust. I cleaned all the fans and hoovered most parts to try and avoid touching things.
Just put it all back together and it sounds loads better, almost silent now, as opposed the the struggling fans I used to hear.
Slight problem, the PC is not showing up on the monitor. No picture at all, not even if I wiggle the monitor to PC cable.
Took it apart again, made sure nothing was loose, made sure the connection for monitor was screwed in tight. Still just a black screen with the message "check vga cable"
Plugged my laptop to it using same cable and it worked fine.
What have I done? _pale_Saving and spending in equal measure0 -
