How to remove a car battery with clamps?

Ok I've been avoiding using our second car to save money on petrol and hopefully get rid of it eventually. However in doing so the battery seems to have flattened. I've brought a charger for it but I need to remove the battery however I can't seem to get it removed because of the clamps holding it in. I've removed the bolt and the screw but it seems firmly attached to the cable still. Any ideas? Image below.

Note: So far I've only removed the bolt and screw from the neutral.

Same here, never had a problem.0 -
I found the Tayna website which shows you how to fit a car battery. I don't know if this will help but it might be worth a look:

By the looks of online stuff I found I need to get a flat head screwdriver and put it underneath to push the terminals out.
I would be very careful doing that, you could (a ) damage the battery by loosening the post/s, and (b) short out against metal with the live terminal if there is any life at all in the battery.0 -
Panic over, screw driver got it out and seemed ok. Sorry inactive, read your post afterwards! But seems to be charging ok. Fingers crossed my car will start once its back!0
