not paying more ,started a competition where anyone who leaves something switched on gets a point at the end of each week theres a forfeit for the person with the most points , so far its oh who is the main offender !
ive also bought a wall mounted electric fire so that goes on the take the chill off rather than the full central heating.

Not o sure using electric heater to take chill of is such a good idea, given it costs 3x more to heat with. Why not just increase temperature of CH a little I have mine on low all day just enough to take the cold away

  • elecric heating is far more expensive so it may save you more if you don't use it

  • Are you just heating one room or do you have the CH on for background heating as well?
