After living in rehab I've been told I can apply for my own flat again :j I am trying to save up some money for flooring.
Would anybody be able to give me an idea of how much it would be to carpet a single size bedroom, hallway, living room, bathroom and kitchen.
I know it can only be an estimate as I don't have sizes. I would need to pay for it putting down too. Many thanks

Have you been to any carpet shops?carpet right (i'm sure others do too) will come round measure and give you a price for free.

Here's some examples of rooms I've had carpeted recently with roll ends:

10foot6" x 11foot - roll end £65, underlay £30, fitting (inc. grippers) £30 - total £125
10foot6" x 6foot6 - roll end £35, underlay £20, fitting(inc. grippers) £20 - total £75

My bedroom (10foot6" x 10foot) was carpeted (off the roll) with a "cheapest in the shop" carpet and it cost about £250:eek: (with underlay) nearly 4 yrs ago. Can definitely get better quality for the money with roll ends.
