Wall Mounted TV Help Needed

Hi, I wall mounted our 46" LCD tv about a year ago. One issue is that when the TV is on it sometimes 'creakes' as if there is some expansion on the bracket. Dam it is loud!
I haven't used any spacers between the back of the TV and the wall mounting kit - would this cause some creaking? I took the TV off and recently and all the brackets were tight.
The strange thing is it only creakes when the TV is on, when it is off there is no noise.
The mounting kit is stable and no sign of it coming away from the wall.
Any help much appreciated.

a TV gives a lot of heat off when its on. its the heat that will be causing the expansion of metal & plastic etc... all materials expand at different rates. hence the noise.Get some gorm.0

I think that ormus has hit the nail exactly on the head. If there is no noise when the tv is off, then the noise can only really be due to movement caused by expansion produced by heat generated when the tv is on.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
