you don't need to cook it first Suzy - just quarter it and roast. Mix it with oil and fresh herbs if you want - think potato wedges You don't have to peel it.

Time does help, but people are more understanding about you being upset in the early days/years. 24 and 14 years down the line like I am, it's harder to talk about because you get the feeling people think you should be over it.....the 'not that old chestnut' reaction.

There's also the niggling worry every year, will I lose someone else that day. Irrational I know. I've never told anyone about that before

I dunno Spud-I don't think you can ever get over the loss of a loved one. There are so many things you wish they could see and that you could share with them.

I'm sure none of us are thinking 'that old chestnut' at all
