    Question for all you cooking peeps (not you Snaggs...lol): how do I roast beetroot? I've got it here, unpeeled and everything. Where do I start?

  • Suze- I would cut into 1/4 sprinkle with olive oil and salt and bung in the oven.

    Can I roast it without cooking it first? I do everything else, but the recipie said "cooked beetroot".

    And do I just peel it like.....well....I don't know really. I remember my mother dunking them in boiling water to get the skins off? Seems like a hundred years ago I watched her do that.
