Beanie, that is the thread I was thinking about reporting, but I use web email so I can't. Their replies were pretty standard for the benefits board, which is where it came from. I don't know what's wrong with these forums lately, the benefits board seems to be just for benefit bashing, there's more and more people on this board having a go about people in debt... And in the last few weeks I've noticed a few bailiffs threads with totally wrong advice given by newbies (along the lines of 'they're nice people, let them in for a nice chat and it can all be sorted amicably') which makes me think there are people from the 'other side' trying to confuse people.
Anyway, rant over...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I am sitting here with the chinese menu and $10 (no quid sign) and can't decide or fancy anything. Not been able to have one for ages and noq I am about to waste the opportunity. How bizarre.0

Linda, it's the one about being on benefits and in debt. The usual benefit bashing mixed in with 'you borrowed it you should pay it back at all costs even if it makes you ill and destitute' crap.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
