Problems with landlord, our fault????

Take pictures and make them dated ones but keep them for your records only. I don't believe that the landlord is denying the lav's actually blocked just who's responsible for causing it and who therefore is responsible for paying for the repair. Having a photo of a blocked lav is all very fascinating but it can't prove who or what the culprit was. The description of the pipes or system being unstable is what I find most compelling and I would focus on getting all of the plumbers' reports in hand.0

As I said before "Ask the landlord for copies all of the bills, the reports and accompanying paperwork to prove his position that this is your responsibility and therefore your liability."0
