Wahoo - mum, dad and three kids return to New York in December school holidays for just £883!!! Got to be a bargain! Cost us £670 a ticket to go to Vegas in the summer a couple of years ago.

The first deal, and the one this thread refers to, is that BA Travel Shops are closing down. Therefore they're giving travel shop customers £100 off if they make a booking on the website (or £10 off Euro flights, £200 off WTP, £400 off Club). The link to this is http://www.britishairways.com/travel/travelshoploc/public/en_gb and you need to have gone through this page to get the right cookie set on your browser. This offer runs until 30 July for travel until March 07.
The other offer is the summer sale which ends this Tuesday. This is where the fares Tara posted come from (£249 to NYC, etc). So by using the two deals together you get flights for £149 (or £199 to other US cities or the carribbean).
Very tempting, will have to give this some serious thought0 -

If you are planning to go the USA soon make sure you qualify for the visa waiver scheme. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

London to Orlando in august for 2 weeks = £2145 for 2 adults and 1 child
Orlando to London in august for 2 weeks = £1760 for the same 2 adults and 1 child
The dates were the same but the premium for originating in the UK is £385
methinks that Martin should expose this rip off and put a stop to companies like BA ripping us off !0 -
Just booked 2 returns from London to New York at end of October for £188 each. Was only able to get that price by using the link in post 1. If you need to recheck the price or check another destination do it via that link - using the "back" button or going via BA.com seems to miss out on the cheap prices. Well done Roses.0

Yeah what is the visa waiver system? I was arrested when i was 19 and apparently i now have to take a day off work, go down to London to apply for a different visa!!
That surely can't be true?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Just as a heads up - I successufully found some flights for a bargain price, but because of faffing, the session timed out, and when I went back, the prices had gone up by £50 for each flight. I initially thought that all the cheap flights had sold out, but actualy, all I needed to do was:
Clear cookies, and use the OPs link again, and the £100 discount once again became apparent!

Thinking of booking a flight to Miami but also want to visit Las Vegas or California. Any idea where to get cheap domestic flights within US?0

If you are planning to go the USA soon make sure you qualify for the visa waiver scheme. If you need to get a visa it takes about 2 months as you need to have an appointment in person. You also have to pay $100.
Also note that if you have any sort of conviction even a spent one you do not qualify the visa waiver scheme and will need to apply for a visa

yeah, this VWS. So if you were arrested but totally innocent you still have to apply for a full visa???
When did this happen, cos I went to USA in 1999 and I didn't need one.0
