Power Shower installation

Hi,

We currently have a Mira Sport shower, it about 10 years old and we have been told one of the elements is no longer working.

We have bought a new Mira Orbis which we would like installed in place of the old MIra Sport.

Any idea how much it should cost to have these switched over?

  • Depending on the tiling/plumbing situation you may or may not need to move some of the tiles.

They both use cold only inlets, so shouldn't a problem there.

The new shower is 9.6kw. I am not sure about the old one - it is a twin elemnet model if that would give an indication?

The power supply was formerly that of the immersion heater.

the shower is mounted on some kind of decorated waterproof boards - possibly uPVC - so no tiles to be removed.

I think it should be a straight forward job but could easily be wrong.
