Halifax advice please!

As most others, I received the (get out) letter from the bank. However my charges go back to early 2003 and then they were charging 28 and 30 pounds penalties. Does the Supreme Court Ruling apply to present day charges or are they agreeing that these high charges were correct for 7 years ago. Also Halifax state that they are within their rights if the charges are clearly set out. On my statements, it simply says, charges as notified last month. Is that acceptable as clearly set out?
Can anyone give me any advice on this please?

I believe that the charging structure is shown on the bottom of your Halifax statement. And each statement shows the total charges for the previous month. They might have changed that now though.Getting married 02.08.14
