How do I take a holiday?

Any ideas on how to shut down for a wee break. I have been doing this now 7 days a week for a year and I'm knackered I sell on both Amazon and EBay. I also spend hours sourcing new products.

The easy part is removing the listings. My problem is selling elictrical items requires a huge amount of after sales support dealing with questions and returns. Doing this well helps keep my ratings high and therefore my prices and sales higher than my competitors.

I am terrified of the consequences of my buyers not being able to communicate with me but i need to escape for bit. Had a speed wobble a week or so back when I was making mistakes in listings; e-mails and deliveries.

What steps do I need to take to ensure buyers don't think I have done a runner which could be catastrophic some are bad enough when you give 110% service and commitment.

if you run a shop you can 'go on holiday'

otherwise, leave your PC on and set an 'out of office' thing up
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I think you can set your e-mails to auto-respond (though it might depend on who you use for your e-mails), you could say you're away til whatever date and will reply as soon as you get back.

The brainy peeps on the techie board will know more :D

Thanks for the replies guys yes I had thought about that and would do that. Is there anything else that would need to be done?
