    I don't know if anyone else has suggested it yet (haven't read page 2!) but how about a few bags of value yorkshire puds (the little ones) with some very thinly sliced roast beef and horseradish sauce in the middle? Or make mini toad in the holes with cocktail sausages?

  • costco is def worth going to, apart from drinks as its not that more cheaper there, we doing teh buffet for our dd christening and will be shopping there, we're expecting about 70 people from the looks of it, so are planning to do

    tortilla wraps with various fillings
    salad (will come from our allotment)
    crisps
    sausage rolls
    sausages
    quiches
    cous cous
    crackers and cheese
    whatever nibble things we can find which are cheap
    whatever pudding things we can find which are cheap
    drinks will be whatever is on offer at the time in the supermarkets
