Had this 2 weeks ago with the tesco meal for 2 for £9
Kott Hill wine
Steak Diane
Cheese Cake
Cheddar mash
looked at the receipt the day after and id been charged £15.25!:(,
I know for a fact that these are in the offer as I've had them twice before, so called the customer services number on the receipt and the person on the phone told me just to take the receipt back into the store within 28 days and they will double the difference.
So this evening i go to the customer service desk and inform them of the mistake , and they tell me cause i don't have the products i bought they cannot tell if they were in the offer! 2 weeks ago even though they are they on the receipt! and the offers still on
Amazed that they have no record , or so they say of past offers and what is included in them.
Just about to fire off a letter to head office:D now0 -
Problem with the Tesco Finest Meal Deal for £9 is the stuff that is on it changes every week. It constantly causes problems with people saying, "well i had them last week". The offer is constant but the options change. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

would have thought it wise and I'm surprised they don't have a record of what was included in previous offers:think: at least for 28days as this is the time limit that they set for double the difference.0 -

Do they set that time limit, I don't think it is on the sign behind the customer service desk. Usually you have to show that the price was different at the time, that is why it is best to check the receipt before leaving as the mistake may have been corrected by the time you return.

I always sit down on bench outside Tesco or in the car too check the reciept, unfortunatly they have not made many mistakes recently - i love d and d.
Now Aldi is a differant matter all together, if they did d and d i would be having me shopping for nothing, nearly every week i have been overcharged. By the till and with manual inputs, however, manuals are going down as they know me now, so it begs the question - do they do it on purpose?SIMPLES!0
