Help Just order free book without reading the warnings you have put!
How do I get out of it?

I would contact customer services straight away on Monday before anything gets sent, and invent something such as your 9-year-old child filled it in for a prank/dare after finding it on a Freebie website you have on Favourites, he/she has been soundly told off, and you want all the details said child filled in deleted. At least that gets you out of explaining why you changed your mind!!!

I had a book sent by Mango... again unsolicited... had a nightmare sorting it out... everytime I tried to phone I got stuck in automated systems, never did get to speak to a human!

Sorted it eventually!.. after numerous irate emails, they said I must have requested it!! They had my email address incorrect but postal address was correct?... I demanded they send me a postage paid label and envelope as I refused to return the book at my expense.. and also requested they remove my details from their system.

I applied for this free book and then read the rest of this thread! Anyway I sent them an email saying that I wasn't aware that I had to actually join up as a member to receive it... this is the email I just got back from them:

    Thank you for your e-mail.

Our introductory parcels are only sent when we receive a specific request for them. An application for membership was received bearing your address, but apparently without your permission.

We have also removed this account from our records.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this matter has caused you.

    How weird! But good... :T
