they won't sign you up to their service will they? I signed up once to Mango and they sent me 3 books a month, which I either had to pay for or send back at my expense, and due to the weight of the parcel it was sometimes cheaper to keep the books. I had to be a member for 12 months and then it tok them a few months to cancel my membership, and now I'm stuck with a load of books I've never read.
Ace if it is a free book, just saying beware.0 -

Mango are one of the book club associates trade names (BCA) you do get signed up to a contract where you must buy books regularly or they charge you anyway.
i got an unwanted book & confirmation of contract recently and vented heavily to every BCA e-mail i could find. I got responses varying from send the book to us, we'll collect the book to keep it. I have seen people selling the free book on e-bay and making money, but the hassle to cancell the contract, the argoance of the staff and cost of calls means this is definatly not a good freebieDon’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
Avoid!
Quote from their website:How It Works?
When you join the club, you agree to buy at least 5 books in your first year of membership.. *
Once you have fulfilled this agreement, it's up to you how many books you want to buy - you are free to cancel at any time.
Just tell us each month if you would like to take our recommendation or choose from thousands of titles using either your club website or magazine.
That's it.0 -
