My friend is going to Austrailia via kuala lumpur and will have an 8 hour stay in kuala lumpur airport on her way back. I thought as part of her birthday present that I might get her a ticket to the airport lounge to have a shower/feed etc while she's there but don't know:
if they are worth it
How to book one
If the one in kuala lumpur is particulary decent
any tips or advice would be gratefully received!

I went to the airport lounge at Kuala Lumpur on my way to Australia a few years ago. It was the best money that I spent there! I got a shower, as much food as I could eat, plenty of drink, internet access, comfy seats and a call when it was time for me to saunter down to get my plane onwards!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0

I totally agree, it's a superb lounge.
Not sure if you can just pay to go in or how you book it though, as I travelled business class.0 -

Thanks guys
is there only one lounge in KL?
I had a look on executive lounge link above, but they are saying the maximum length of stay is 3 hours for £17.95, do they police this stringently or can I book 2 back to back stays?
Have been stuck in an airport for about 9 hours before and once you've explored the loos & bookshop twice, there's only so much before you're tempted to plan world domination as a way of relieving the stress

does anyone know if you can take infants into any airport lounges? We fly to Perth via Dubai in Nov.....Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.
