I ordered a laptop today with The Link. I looked over their page and down the left hand side was 'Our Commitments'. 24 hour delivery and no mention of working days. I placed my order again nothing was said about working days. I now find that my laptop is coming on Monday when nobody will be in to receive it. I cant take time of work. Apparently 'next working day' is in some terms and conditions that they know nobody reads.
Other shops clearly stated that you could have next working day or pay extra for a Saturday. I would have paid extra with another retailer to get my pc. Everyone in my house is at work or school during the week.
Now they say they will not refund me till after 7 working days

It's really quite simple...from The Link website:-
4. Standard delivery times
We aim to deliver all standard delivery orders next working day*
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (but excluding Bank Holidays). If you order before 3.00pm, the next working day will be considered the first working day. Orders placed at week ends or Bank Holidays will be treated as having been placed on the next working day for delivery purposes, as will those placed on the day before an extended Bank Holiday Weekend (for example, the Thursday before Easter) will be delivered on Wednesday of the following week.0
