£7.05 to add for me today (ebay) ..... a few more things ending over the weekend and will be listing some more bits and pieces tonight. Seeing as we've still got approx 10 days left until the end of this month, I think I'm going to up my target to the £10 per day ........ a big final push and I might just make it !

Congrats to missywissy, great news !

  • been away for a few days so no overtime for me this week - have done really well at not spending while away ( just wales) Me and other half car shared for 2 weeks so we had petrol to drive there without extra cost, and we took packed lunches every day when going out to the beach etc so spent about £20 all week - which is what we would have spent at home anyway. Totally spoiled all our carefullness though by getting a take out curry last night (first night back) so am very dissapointed - £26 I could have saved.icon9.gif but have just recieved 29.50 of tesco vouchers :)so will use these tomorrow to buy lots of cheap washing powder and loo rolls and toothpaste etc to keep my weekly shops right down for the next few weeks! will see if i can redeem the 26 some how!

My ebay is doing appalling tho! and I can't remember the last time i got a sale on Amazon!!!!!! What's going on?!?

Does anyone know a good place to sell thimbles? I've been given the mammoth task of selling all 150+ of my nan's collection! I've tried a couple of dozen on ebay with not a single bid!:mad::mad: (all starting at 99p + 50p postage)

I've also got a classical guitar, an electric guitar and an amp to shift. But given the amount it'll cost to post them I can't see ebay being a great option, any ideas?

Amazon - my sales for work have only been 3 this week. We have 1700 items listed! Soolin has had the same problem this week so I don't think its just you. Must be the time of year or something

I sold approx 40 thimbles in one lot on work eBay last year for about £110. I would try them there in a job lot. Its not worth listing all individually as most are not valuable enough unless its unusual, silver or a very good maker. You could do one big lot or smaller lots depending on type

Instruments also sell well on eBay but you could do collection only. Otherwise do you have a music shop in your area where you could advertise or ask for advice?

A bit of cashback to add for me today

Nothing today, boo! I did do 2 hours of work at home last night so will count that when I get paid next week. But have now uploaded 34 more items to eBay, so here's hoping. BUT am very angry as I got charged £5.70 for them. ARGH. Others don't seem to be being charged for Turbo Lister so no idea what's happened.

I've got over 100 vintage postcards, ala 1970s-1980s and am not sure what to do with them. Some are written on/stamped. eBay seems like a waste, any other ideas? Don't want to turn up at an antiques place and be told they are worth £2!
