I am trying to download ComboFix from the link you gave me, it keeps coming up

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

I really wouldnt recommend it

The link works fine for me so I suspect your hosts file has changed

Download HostsXpert

and then follow the below steps.

* Unzip HostsXpert.zip
* It will create a folder named HostsXpert in whatever folder you extract it to.
* Run HostsXpert.exe by double clicking on it.
* click the Make Writeable? button.
* click Restore Microsoft's Hosts File and then click OK.
* Click the X to exit the program

The forospyware is a spanish forum site, only managed to suss it was spanish as my class have just learnt the months of the year in spanish and the word enero was on one of the ads
the 2nd link still doesnt work,

so shall i just download hostxpert then try the link again?

Did you see the thread on here called combofix warning?

Combofix is fine now

Try hostxpert and try again

If still no luck actually copy and paste the link direct into the address bar

if STILL no luck then use FIREFOX instead of IE

Have got to the hostxperts page, theres a choice of 3 to download, all zip files, one is softpedia mirror (us) the other is softpedia (ro) and the last is external mirror 1 which one do i choose, i did try the external mirror one but got the same message cannot display the webpage

Download FIREFOX and use that ~

Have clicked on the link to get firefox, the page loads up fine but when i click on download it, message comes up cannot display webpage
