Student summer hardship fund

Hi everyone my university has just sent out information about HE student hardship fund for over the summer, like many others I didnt even know this fund was there.
The one problem I may have in claiming is that it states, you must be unemployed, the thing is I have a small job with Betterware earning £20 average a week.
I have not seen the application form yet, but can this be classed as employed, as £20 a week is nothing.
I don't want to break any rules or get into trouble, just wanted to see what others opinions were and if people have applied for this fund before.
Thanks cazzie

One of my old housemates applied for a hardship grant in his second year (at Royal Holloway, University of London). Even though he earned up to £600 per month as a 'sound technician' for the Students' Union, he was given £900 from the hardship fund! He had to show bank statements as evidence for his 'hardship', but obviously they ignored his income.
£20 per week shouldn't affect your ability to get a hardship grant; in fact, surely it supports your application, since it shows that you're in financial difficulty, given that you actually bother to get an extra £20 a week?
Good luck!
