HELP! International call charges?

I want to ring my girlfriend who is doing a placement in Malawi atm. I did the international call checker which gave me Primus saver at 4p/min. The number to call is 0844 709 0011. I am going to call from a BT landline so can anyone give me the true cost per minute for this call I just don't want to be stung when the bill comes through. THANKS!!

The MSE CallCheckers quote the cost if calling from a BT line.
Hence, if it says, 4p/minute, you'll pay BT's connection charge (9.25p) + 4p/minute.
HOWEVER, I can't see that rate on offer for calls to Malawi now. Check again.

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

So I will only be paying the set up charge (9.25p) and then after that its only 4p/min no other charges?0
