Hi OP. I am in the same position as you - I have just sent my letters off and am holding my breath. Good luck and I will follow your thread with interest.

Court Action whilst on DMP is possible, but so long as you pay all your surplus into the DMP there is nothing they will get from a CCJ as the court will only make you pay what you can afford, which is what the DMP is doing anyway.

And the way to stop court action is to put the account formally into dispute and then raise a CCA which obviously buys you time :D
One note to the OP, did you check this thread (prior to paying off the account with Egg).... Egg Card - CCA Flawed?

If you get hassled by phone/letter/visit send the relevant letter from within this useful thread: Dealing with Bailiffs Harassment

Also, final point, any adverse data will drop off 6 years from date of original default --- the fact the account gets a settled/partial settlement or an amount of debt outstanding marker does not make any difference! Adverse data is treated the same regardless of whether paid in full or paid a bit or outstanding.....

The only way info would be left on your file regards to the Egg account is assuming you actually get a CCJ near the 6 year default drop off date (non payment)... so as things stand when your 6 years are up, the whole entry and all payment history will vanish :D
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o
