Hi all - posting my final amount for Feb's challenge in my updated signature - £116.41. Still can't believe how many NSD I've managed. For March I am going to go into the shops and look for whoopsies as I have trained myself (Ha Ha) not to stray from what I originally went in for. For example went into Mr T's today and only bought milk, local newspaper and choccies which was what I originally went in for. I know I'm rambling but was disappointed as the reduced shelf had already been cleared.
I've also been looking online to see which shops have bargains before going to the actual shop - at the mo Mr C**p has Nouvelle (I think) actually it is Triple velvet oops on offer, 18 rolls half price at £5.00 so will be getting some of them tomorrow as:eek: I am down to 6 rolls!!

Well done to everyone for sticking it out and welcome to all the newbies for the March challenge. :)
I am already down for £160 thanks MrsMc.

See you all soon Liz :D

Ok, just done my sums and we're declaring at £180.75 for February please - we're very pleased with this! Our pre-wedding diet starts tomorrow so no more treats, should help us reduce the grocery bill even further in March.
Well done everyone, and thanks for all the tips and support on this thread :)

February ended up just shy of twenty squiddlies over; now there's a surprise....NOT!

BUT! I know £8 was on batteries & another £3 on herbs & spices so, taking in to account it also included a visit to a mahoosiff MrA that I only go to about three times a year, I'm quietly pleased with that.

  • I'm just adding up my receipts for Feb using fingers and toes so I'll be back in a moment to declare and to do new figure for March -;)

Right, a day late, but I am declaring at £360.84 for February, £10.84 over...but much better than previous months!! :j

I have already declared another £350 for March, and Mrs M has put me down for that, so I willnip over to the March thread and have a look before I go shopping.

Mr T is delivering later today and I want to get some things from town that Mr T doesn't do, or I can get cheaper. So off into town now, it's a lovely sunny day...it's even sort of warm (well 10 degrees :rotfl:!!).

This should do us for most of the month other than further milk and F&V, which I need to get weekly (DH and DS2 not keen on UHT and not enough room in the freezer!).

    Have a good day everyone.
